Can I return my order and get a refund?

There is a 14-day return and refund policy for products purchased at Ionited Art. If more than 14 days have passed since your order has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund.

Our policy requires you to provide a receipt or other proof of purchase to return the item. Please note that your item must be in the same condition it has been delivered in order to qualify for the return and refund.  The item will not be eligible for the refund if it is damaged not due to our error.

Firstly, the inspection of the item takes place - we always confirm the status of the item with you via email and notify you if it has been approved or rejected.

If the item is approved – the refund will take place and credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 days. While if your returned item was rejected – we cannot process the refund since you are not eligible for it.

Check for more details about our refund policy.

Is there a fee for returns?

In accordance with our policies, customers returning their order are responsible to cover for their own return cost and no return fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Printing FAQ

What is a Giclée print?

The word “GiclĂ©e” is French for “sprayed ink.” Today, the term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions.

All of our in-house prints are manufactured in this way. Except for stickers and apparel which are produced using eco-solvent inks. Giclée printing offers extra-fine image resolution, helping retain a higher degree of detail from the original fine art or photographic images.

How long do your Giclée prints last?

A lot of research and development has gone into the various aspects and materials that make up a Giclée print.

The archival nature of the print varies according to the type of inks used, as well as the archival properties of your chosen paper selected and the conditions in which the print is displayed or stored. Current scientific lab reports suggested that our recommended papers and Giclée printing process will produce a print that lasts between 100-200 years in optimal conditions.

Please note any print located in direct sunlight is still likely to fade over time.

How are canvas prints made?

Canvases are printed on specialist canvas material using our 12-colour Giclée printing process. This material is then stretched over a handmade wooden canvas frame (made from four separate parts called canvas stretcher bars).

The canvas corners are folded tightly over each edge and then the material is fixed with staples to the canvas stretcher bar frame. Tape is then used to cover all staples, ensuring a smooth, neat finish.

Does the size listed for frames refer to the overall size?

No, the size listed for each frame refers to the size of the glaze and does not include the width of the frame. For example, A4 prints without a mount will fit an A4 glaze exactly.
